MARDUK Reunited With Former Vocalist At German Festival

August 13, 2003

Sweden's MARDUK were reunited on stage with former vocalist Joakim Göthberg during their appearance at the Party.San Open Air festival in Germany on Saturday (August 9). Joakim performed a duet with current MARDUK frontman Legion on the track "The Black" in what marked Göthberg's first appearance with the band since February 1995. The surprise pairing was captured on video and will be a part of the bonus material on MARDUK's upcoming DVD, "Funeral Marches And Warsongs", tentatively due in mid-November.

MARDUK's latest album, "World Funeral", was released in Europe in late February through the group's own Blooddawn Productions.
